NCT ID NCT06377215

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how older adults with hearing loss understand speech in noisy settings, like a crowded room. Researchers will test 121 people—young and older with normal hearing, plus older adults with hearing loss—using listening tasks and brain wave measurements. The goal is to find out which hearing aid settings work best for each person based on their ability to separate sounds in space.
