NCT ID NCT07450950
First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at how well patients understand the information they get before major abdominal cancer surgery, what they expect, and if they later regret their decision. Researchers will follow 90 adults having surgery for pancreatic, liver, stomach, or bowel cancer at a Danish hospital. They will collect data before surgery, one month after, and three months later to see how health literacy and expectations relate to regret and emotional well-being.
