Summary
This study looked at how well patients and their doctors understood each other after an emergency room visit. Researchers compared the answers from patients and doctors on a questionnaire to see if they agreed. Over 1,800 adults from 14 hospitals took part. The goal was to find gaps in communication, not to test a new treatment.
