Summary
This study looked at why some women disagree with their personalized breast cancer risk estimate. Researchers gave 781 Black or African American women aged 39-74 their Gail Model risk score and asked if they agreed. The goal was to understand this rejection and how it affects their plans for mammograms and seeking more information.
