This completed study from Stanford University looked at how brain circuits relate to anxiety and depression. 167 adults with recent anxiety or depression symptoms participated. Researchers used brain scans and questionnaires to understand these conditions, and some participants also received either a medication (Pramipexole) or brain stimulation therapy (rTMS) to explore new treatment options.
