First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether using ultrasound instead of X-rays can diagnose elbow fractures in children more efficiently. About 225 kids with elbow pain will be randomly assigned to get an ultrasound or an X-ray. Researchers will compare costs, radiation exposure, time spent in the ER, and patient satisfaction between the two groups.
