Summary
This study looks at how to best manage pain in children after surgery for a broken elbow. It compares two pain medicine combinations: one with acetaminophen and ibuprofen (no opioids) and another with acetaminophen and oxycodone (an opioid). The goal is to see if the opioid-free option works just as well, which could help reduce opioid use in kids. About 90 children will take part, and their pain levels and parent satisfaction will be tracked for about a week after surgery.
