First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested two methods to block nerves in the upper arm during surgery: the usual blind injection versus an ultrasound-guided approach. The goal was to see which better prevents pain from the tourniquet used during the procedure. 140 adults having upper arm surgery took part. The results help doctors choose the best technique to keep patients comfortable.
