Summary
This study is testing a new device that uses ultrasound to look inside the ear and help doctors diagnose middle ear infections more accurately. About 300 children scheduled for ear tube surgery will have their ears examined with the prototype device. The goal is to collect data to improve the device's ability to tell the difference between infected and non-infected fluid in the ear.
