New ultrasound tech peers into failing kidneys

NCT ID NCT07484308

Summary

This study tested a new, detailed ultrasound imaging method to see tiny blood vessels in the kidneys of people with kidney failure. Researchers wanted to see if pictures from this technology could help doctors better assess how well the kidneys are working, determine the stage of disease, and monitor how patients respond to treatment. The study involved 150 participants who had been diagnosed with kidney failure.
