New imaging tech could give clearer picture of kidney health

NCT ID NCT07484308

Summary

This study tested a new, detailed ultrasound imaging technique to look at tiny blood vessels in the kidneys of people with kidney failure. Researchers wanted to see if the images from this technology could help doctors better understand how well the kidneys are working, determine the stage of the disease, and monitor how patients respond to treatment. The study involved 150 participants who had been diagnosed with kidney failure.
