First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new type of nerve block, called Quadro-Iliac plane block, can help control pain after lower back surgery. The block is done using ultrasound to guide the injection. Researchers will measure how much pain medicine patients need and how well they recover in the first two days after surgery. The study plans to enroll 80 adults having elective lumbar spine surgery.
