Could a simple ultrasound scan get heart failure patients home sooner?
NCT ID NCT06965712
Summary
This study is testing whether using a bedside ultrasound machine can help doctors better manage fluid levels in people hospitalized with worsening heart failure. About 66 patients will be randomly assigned to either receive ultrasound-guided care or standard care without ultrasound. The main goal is to see if the ultrasound guidance leads to shorter hospital stays and fewer patients needing to return to the hospital within 30 days.
