Could a simple scan get heart failure patients home sooner?
NCT ID NCT06965712
Summary
This study is testing if using a bedside ultrasound machine can help doctors better manage fluid levels in hospitalized heart failure patients. About 66 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either ultrasound-guided care or standard care. The main goal is to see if this approach leads to shorter hospital stays and fewer patients returning to the hospital within 30 days.
