First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether measuring the optic nerve sheath with ultrasound can help predict a specific type of headache that can occur after spinal anesthesia. 176 adults having knee replacement surgery took part. The goal was to see if this simple eye test could identify who might develop the headache and how severe it might be.
