Summary
This study looks at whether ultrasound can detect scarring (fibrosis) in the gut of people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will compare ultrasound images with tissue samples from 50 adults undergoing routine colonoscopy. The goal is to develop better ways to measure disease without invasive procedures, not to test a new treatment.
