Sound waves to soothe fibromyalgia pain? new trial underway

Summary

This study tests a new, noninvasive brain stimulation technique using ultrasound to reduce pain in people with fibromyalgia. 180 adults with fibromyalgia will receive four treatments over one month and complete surveys for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach safely eases pain and improves daily function.
