New PET scan slashes radiation 100-Fold for bone disease detection

Summary
This study tests a new PET imaging method that uses 10 to 100 times less radiation than current scans to detect bone issues like cancer, infection, and arthritis. About 200 adults will get a tiny amount of radioactive tracer and be scanned for up to 3 hours. The goal is to see if the new technique still produces clear images while being much safer.
