Elbow nerve surgery trial seeks to ease hand pain and weakness

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common surgical procedures works better to relieve symptoms of ulnar neuropathy at the elbow, a condition that causes pain, numbness, and weakness in the hand. Researchers will compare the surgeries in 378 adults who have not improved with simpler treatments like splinting. The main goal is to see which operation provides better hand function and less pain over a year of follow-up.
