This study aimed to find the safest blood sugar level for adults with type 1 diabetes to aim for before starting exercise. Researchers tested three different targets to see which one best prevented dangerous low blood sugar during and after moderate cycling. The goal was to provide clearer guidance for people using do-it-yourself automated insulin systems to exercise more safely.
