Summary
This study tested whether applying tranexamic acid (TXA) directly to the surgical area during breast removal and reconstruction reduces bleeding and fluid collections. It involved 23 women at high risk for or with breast cancer. The goal was to improve recovery and lower the chance of complications that could delay cancer treatment.
