New hope for Hard-to-Treat cancers: first human trial of KRAS G12D drug begins

Summary
This study tests a new drug called TSN1611 in people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change called KRAS G12D. The study has two parts: first, finding the safest dose, and then testing how well it shrinks tumors. About 440 adults will take part. The goal is to control the cancer, not cure it, and participants may need ongoing treatment.
