Scientists test triple attack on deadly brain cancer
NCT ID NCT03405792
Summary
This study is testing if adding an immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab) to two standard treatments can help people with a newly diagnosed, aggressive brain cancer (glioblastoma) live longer without their cancer getting worse. It will involve about 40 adults who have already had surgery and initial chemo-radiation. The goal is to see if this three-part combination is more effective than the two-part standard treatment used in the past.
