First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study followed 514 people with stable coronary artery disease for 18 months. Researchers measured how well their bodies processed fats (triglycerides) and sugar after meals. The goal was to see if these measurements could predict who would have a heart attack or die from heart disease. The study did not test any new treatment, but aimed to find better ways to identify high-risk patients.
