New hope for liver cancer patients battling appetite loss

Summary
This study tests a drug called nanocrystalline megestrol acetate to see if it can prevent weight loss and improve appetite in people with advanced liver cancer who are already receiving standard treatments. About 88 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to help patients maintain their strength and quality of life during cancer therapy.
