Race to save young livers: can immune drugs stop sudden failure?

Summary
This study is testing if two immune-suppressing drugs can help children survive a sudden, life-threatening liver failure without needing a transplant. About 160 children, aged 1 to 18, will be randomly assigned to receive one of the drugs or standard supportive care. The main goal is to see if these treatments improve the chance of a child's own liver recovering within 21 days.
