First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests if a drug called treprostinil can help protect a new kidney from injury during transplant surgery. About 20 adults receiving a deceased donor kidney will get the drug through an IV for two days, starting just before surgery. The goal is to see if it improves kidney function and reduces the need for dialysis after transplant.
