New mobile program with peer coaches aims to curb heavy drinking in trauma-affected college students

Summary
This study tests whether adding trauma coping strategies and peer coaches to a standard mobile alcohol intervention helps young adults (ages 18-25) who have experienced interpersonal trauma reduce heavy drinking. 225 college students are randomly assigned to the enhanced program, standard program, or assessment only. Researchers will measure alcohol use, cannabis use, and program satisfaction at 3 and 6 months.
