Summary
This study looks at whether a simple chest ultrasound (TTE) can accurately rule out a serious heart infection called infective endocarditis. If it works, many patients could avoid a more invasive and costly throat ultrasound (TOE). The study will enroll 350 adults with suspected infection and compare the two methods.
