Summary
This study checks if a simple chest ultrasound (TTE) can accurately rule out infective endocarditis, a serious heart infection. If TTE is reliable, many patients can avoid a more invasive throat probe (TOE). Researchers will study 350 adults with suspected infection to compare the two methods.
