Life-Saving windpipe patch trial for children
NCT ID NCT07240259
Summary
This study is testing whether a patch made from a donor's blood vessel can safely repair severe windpipe and airway defects in infants and children. It is for children with life-threatening airway problems who have not responded to other treatments and lack enough of their own tissue for standard repair. The main goal is to see if the procedure is feasible and to check patient survival 90 days after surgery.
