Heated tobacco vs cigarettes: new study measures body toxins and inflammation

Summary
This study looked at nearly 1,000 adults aged 30-60 to see if using a tobacco heating system for at least 2 years leads to lower levels of harmful chemicals, oxidative stress, and inflammation compared to smoking cigarettes. Participants were grouped by their smoking habits and matched by age, sex, and region. The goal was to understand potential health differences between the two products.
