Summary
This study tracks 20 adults with severe, drug-resistant Tourette syndrome who receive deep brain stimulation (DBS) — a device that sends electrical pulses to specific brain areas. Researchers will measure tic severity, mental health, and quality of life before surgery and every year for 5 years afterward. The goal is to understand how well DBS controls symptoms over time.
