First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether applying oxygen directly to the gums around dental implants can improve healing and shape. Six adults who need a healing collar placed on their implant will receive topical oxygen therapy. Researchers will measure changes in gum thickness, height, and overall appearance, as well as pain and wound healing. The goal is to find a simple way to help gums heal better and look more natural.
