Gum shape showdown: which healing abutment wins for dental implants?
NCT ID NCT07031232
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how the design of a temporary healing cap (called a healing abutment) affects the way gum tissue heals around a dental implant. 75 adults getting a single implant will be split into three groups, each receiving a different type of abutment. The goal is to see which design best preserves the natural shape and volume of the gum, which is important for a good-looking and long-lasting result.
