First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how the part that connects a dental implant to a crown (called an abutment) affects bone loss around the implant. Researchers will test two different heights and two different shapes in 180 adults who need a tooth replacement. The goal is to find which design helps keep the bone strongest and most stable over time.
