First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether eye drops made from stem cell secretions can heal persistent corneal defects that haven't improved with standard treatments. Twenty-four adults will receive either the active drops or a placebo for 8 weeks, with follow-up through day 70. The main goal is to see if the drops improve the eye's surface barrier and integrity.
