First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether gels made from coenzyme Q10 and curcumin can shrink or stabilize oral leukoplakia, a pre-cancerous mouth condition. About 34 adults with mild lesions will apply the gels and be monitored for changes in lesion size and saliva markers. The goal is to see if these antioxidants can prevent the condition from turning into cancer.
