Summary
This study follows 50 adults with tophaceous gout to see how urate-lowering therapy reduces crystal deposits in hands and feet over 6 months. Using a special CT scan, researchers measure changes in crystal volume and check if bone erosions heal. The goal is to understand why some tophi shrink faster than others and how this affects joint health.
