Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste containing 5% potassium nitrate works better than regular cavity protection toothpaste at reducing tooth sensitivity. 80 adults with sensitive teeth used one of the toothpastes for eight weeks. Researchers measured sensitivity to touch and cold air to see which toothpaste provided more relief.
