Special toothpaste tested to stop tooth pain

NCT ID NCT06956599

Summary

This study tested whether a toothpaste containing 5% potassium nitrate works better than regular cavity protection toothpaste at reducing tooth sensitivity. 80 adults with sensitive teeth used one of the toothpastes for eight weeks. Researchers measured sensitivity to touch and cold air to see which toothpaste provided more relief.
