Special toothpaste tested to stop tooth pain from hot and cold
NCT ID NCT06956599
Summary
This study tested whether a special toothpaste containing 5% potassium nitrate works better than regular cavity protection toothpaste at reducing tooth sensitivity. The 8-week trial involved 80 adults with sensitive teeth who experienced pain from touch and cold air. Researchers measured sensitivity using gentle probes and controlled air blasts to compare the two toothpastes.
