Dentists test simpler alternative to root canals
NCT ID NCT04922229
Summary
This study compares two dental procedures for treating severe, irreversible tooth nerve pain (pulpitis). Researchers want to see if a simpler procedure called pulpotomy works as well as a traditional root canal treatment. The study will follow 138 participants for two years to track which treatment provides better long-term results and identify factors that predict success.
