Dental study tests alternative to root canals for painful teeth
NCT ID NCT04922229
Summary
This study compares two dental procedures for treating severe, irreversible tooth nerve pain (pulpitis). Researchers want to see if a less invasive pulpotomy procedure works as well as a traditional root canal treatment over two years. They'll also look for signs in the tooth or patient that might predict which treatment will be more successful.
