Recycling your own tooth to save your jawbone?
NCT ID NCT07394634
Summary
This study is testing whether using a person's own ground-up extracted tooth can better preserve jawbone after a tooth is pulled, compared to letting the socket heal naturally. Researchers will measure bone changes in 20 healthy adults over 6 months using dental exams and 3D scans. The goal is to see if this recycled tooth material helps maintain more bone volume, which is important for future dental implants.
