NCT ID NCT07157410
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares three types of tooth-colored onlays (custom-made fillings) for back teeth with deep cavities that extend below the gum line. Researchers will first build up the cavity edge, then place each onlay in 18 adults. They will check the fillings at 2 weeks, 6 months, 18 months, and 2 years to see how well they hold up, fit, and affect tooth sensitivity or decay. The goal is to help dentists choose the most durable option.
