NCT ID NCT07157410

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at three types of tooth-colored onlays (custom-made fillings) for back teeth with deep cavities that go below the gum line. Researchers will first build up the cavity edge, then place three different onlays in each of 18 adult patients. They will check the fillings at 2 weeks, 6 months, 18 months, and 24 months to see which material fits best, lasts longest, and causes the fewest problems like sensitivity or new decay.
