Summary
This study tested whether using a person's own ground-up tooth works as well as donated bone for supporting a dental implant in the front of the mouth. Twenty-four adults with a damaged front tooth received an implant and either their own tooth bone or donor bone. The researchers measured bone thickness and stability around the implant over six months.
