First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a patient's own tooth as a bone graft works better than using donated bone for dental implants in the front teeth. Twenty-four adults with a damaged front tooth that needed removal took part. The main goal was to see which graft kept more bone around the implant and reduced bone loss over time.
