New tonsil surgery method aims to cut Kids' pain and bleeding

Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for children aged 3-17 who need their tonsils removed. One group gets standard tonsillectomy, the other gets an extra procedure called lateral pharyngoplasty. Researchers want to see if the extra step leads to less pain, better ability to eat and drink, and fewer bleeding complications after surgery. Parents will track their child's recovery at home using pain scales and daily logs.
