Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for children aged 3-17 having their tonsils removed. One group gets standard tonsillectomy, the other gets an extra procedure called lateral pharyngoplasty. Researchers want to see if the extra step leads to less pain, quicker return to normal eating, and fewer bleeding complications. Parents will track recovery at home using pain scales and daily intake logs.
