First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a mix of triamcinolone and lidocaine into jaw muscle trigger points can reduce pain and improve mouth opening in people with TMJ pain. Thirty adults will receive either the active drug mix or a placebo injection, and their pain levels and jaw movement will be measured. The goal is to find a simple, effective way to ease myofascial jaw pain.
