Elastic bands vs foam rollers: which gives athletes a better jump?
NCT ID NCT07306416
Summary
This study tested two popular warm-up techniques—tissue flossing and foam rolling—to see which better prepares athletes for performance. Researchers measured muscle flexibility, stiffness, and jump height in 30 young male handball players after using each method. The goal was to determine if wrapping muscles with elastic bands or rolling them on foam cylinders provides better short-term benefits for athletic performance.
